We would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all
the members of the Hants & Berks Ferret Club, who work tirelessly to raise funds for
ferrets, for the wonderful donation they sent West Sussex Ferret Welfare towards the
end of last year. Not only was it a great help financially, but due to the size of the donation
it made it possible, at last, to open a Business Account in the name of "West Sussex Ferret
Welfare" which for us is a milestone in itself. Thank you all.

Another THANK YOU has to be said to Cathy at Ferret Friends who, in the last year, has donated two large quantities of Industrial Cleaning Towel. This has not only been no end of
help with the cleaning of all the cages, runs and court but has also helped financially as we
have not had to buy the usual vast quantities of kitchen towel. Thank you, Cathy.

Everyday we are grateful for the moral support which we receive from Rose & Arthur
Morris at Mercia Ferret Welfare. Rose is always at the end of the phone whenever we
need advice, help or generally a good chat about ferrets. Thank you.

Another year is over. It wasn't as dramatic as the previous year, but it was still full of up's
and downs, happy days and sad. The one thing that we can be sure of is that every ferret
that we rehomed has been found a wonderful new family, spreading a lot of happiness not
only to them but to us as well. What more could one ask? So here's to 2008/09 and
another year of fascinating ferrets, good families and perfect forever homes.
